Especialista (Junior Linguist)

Adecco Outsourcing is recruiting one Junior Linguist for an international corporation. As a Junior Linguist, you will be annotating and reviewing linguistic data in Spanish. You will also contribute to a number of other tasks to improve natural language processing.

The tasks include:

• annotating and reviewing linguistic data with semantic, syntactic and morphological features


• evaluating current system outputs


• labelling text for disambiguation, expansion, and text normalization


• deriving NLP data for conversational systems


• localization of messages into Spanish

Project duration: 6 months (with potential extension)
Project location: Madrid (remote work is not an option)

Requirements:

• native-level speaker of Spanish and fluent in English


• degree in Linguistics or Computational Linguistics


• experience in annotation work and dialog systems (valuable)


• knowledge of phonetics/phonology, semantics, syntax, morphology, lexicography and pragmatics


• ability to quickly grasp technical concepts; learn in-house tools


• keen interest in technology and computer-literate


• excellent oral and written communication skills


• attention to detail and good organizational skills
