(Re)Mapping Galician Studies in North America: a Breakthrough Symposium

The Galician Studies Research Group at UW-Milwaukee cordially invites you to submit proposals for this breakthrough Symposium (Re)Mapping Galician Studies in North America. Please, send an abstract of no more than 300 words to reidoval@uwm.edu, including your name, academic affiliation, and email. Abstracts can only be presented in English. Individual presentations should be limited to a maximum of 10-15 minutes (equivalent to about 4-5 double-spaced pages). Please indicate which of the following round tables your presentation would be part of, if accepted:
1. Galician Studies in Iberian, Transatlantic, Migration and Exile Perspectives
2. Galician Studies in Cultural, Celtic, Postcolonial, Romance, and Lusophone Perspectives
3. Galician Studies and Critical Theory
After the symposium, presenters may submit papers for publication in an upcoming volume on Galician Studies in North America.
