The Department of Modern and Classical Languages at University of Wyoming is offering a graduate student and teaching assistantship position for Fall 2016 (late August through December 2016) with renewal for three additional semesters for a total of financial support for two academic years of study. These positions are renewable depending on performance in the major course of study and in the teaching duties required of a graduate assistant. The people selected will join the Spanish Master Program, studying Spanish linguistics and literature, as well as pedagogy of language teaching. They will also teach 3 first year Spanish classes across each academic year. Tuition and fees are covered as well as a stipend for the semester of $5850 (AY $11,700).


Requirements:

For international students, intermediate-advance fluency in English is expected to join the program (TOEFL of 76 in the internet based test with no less that 17 in any of the sections). All students should have native or near-native fluency in the Spanish language and a B.A. (licenciatura) in Spanish philology or related field.
