The conference theme is "Editorial degrees of intervention". Editing a text is a way of making it our own, of bringing it to our time and our cultural context regardless of the language and the time of production. This explains why each period needs their own editions. Probably, editors will not be neutral when facing the texts they are working on. Following the tradition of the ESTS, the conference welcomes a wide range of topics. Papers can be on any language and on any period. Participants are invited to submit proposals for 20-minute presentations (followed by 10-minute discussion). The language of the conference is English. A suggested – though not prescriptive – list of topics includes:
