Teach all levels of courses in the Spanish Language. Participate in departmental and college activities, such as committee assignments, curriculum development, and mentoring student projects. Evening/Weekend schedule may be required.
Performs teaching and related faculty functions in area(s) of expertise as noted below and the ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.
A Master's degree in Spanish, Second Language Acquisition with specialization in Spanish or the equivalent is preferred. The preferred candidate should have evidence of excellence in Spanish language teaching all levels of undergraduate language instruction, demonstrated interest in working with heritage speakers interest in technology enhanced instruction.
