Applications received by the deadline of 6th March (4pm) will be considered, on a competitive basis, for an award of a full (home) fee waiver.
The Masters by Research offers a number of exciting possibilities to students who are interested in postgraduate study. Our Masters by Research is a flexible programme that allows students to undertake in-depth study (both full and part-time) on key areas of literature, visual or cultural studies or comparative topics. We offer a tailor-made research focussed module (currently being validated) to equip you with a range of theoretical and historical approaches to the study of literature, art and culture whilst you refine your own approach to your topic for the dissertation. Eligibility conditions apply. Please note that only candidates who have been offered, and who have accepted, a place to study at Royal Holloway will be considered for any available funding opportunities.
We will consider applications from any area of our research specialisms in French, German, Hispanic Studies or Italian or on comparative topics which might include comparisons between the literature, film or culture of different language areas (including texts in translation) subject to expertise in the School or other comparative topics such as adaptation, reception, interpretation, performance, place and displacement or creative transfer amongst others: [http://www.rhul.ac.uk/mllc/research/home.aspx].
