Assistant Professor of Spanish

Required Qualifications
- ABD in Spanish or other applicable area with Ph.D. completion by September 1, 2018
- Experience teaching Spanish at the college level
- Native or near-native fluency in both Spanish and English
- Demonstrated cultural knowledge of Latin America and Spain

Preferred Qualifications 
- Ph.D. in Spanish or other applicable area
- Demonstrated experience teaching in hybrid, online, and face-to-face environments
- Demonstrated ability to teach Spanish students in the areas of advanced written, oral, or multicultural literacy
- Demonstrated ability to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in the Spanish Program
- Demonstrated experience advising capstone projects
- Demonstrated experience with curriculum development and assessment
- Demonstrated experience or preparation to teach Spanish for professional purposes
- Evidence of relevant scholarly or creative activity
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.
