The Diploma Lengua Española, Cultura y Civilización (DiLe) is an annual program running from September to May structured into two semesters (60 ECTS). The two semesters can also be taken as independent courses of 30 ECTS each (September to December and/or January to May).
DiLe is part of the Study Abroad program at UAM (SAM) which is designed for foreign students whose mother tongue is not Spanish and who wish to improve their Spanish language skills and their knowledge about Hispanic culture, for academic, personal, or professional reasons.
Application (May 15th – June 20th)
You can enter the program (1) as a free mover, or (2) through a University agreement:
-Free mover: All students meeting the requirements will be admitted on a first come first served basis until all places are taken.
-Through University Agreements (university students only): Students will be admitted under the terms of the bilateral Agreement with their home University.
